Providing Inspirational Care to make every day your Best Day
Altruistic – the selfless concern for the well-being of others, unselfish.
The name speaks for itself, but the hands that provide our care is the act of love.
This profession chose me, I did not choose it, but it met me exactly where I needed to be.
I am blessed to have a large family and when my grandmother Priscilla was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, my father and I were found ourselves a place that was unfamiliar. We knew our one goal was to provide her love, security & happiness on her very best days even knowing they were her very last days. Together we immersed ourselves into a place of hope and became advocates of beneficial health practices.
This agency is founded on where dreams meet determination, and passion meets perseverance… it is a legacy of continuing family-focused care for our clients who deserve the same honor and gift of compassion we strived to provide Priscilla.

Owner of Altruistic Home Health
I am the founder of Altruistic Home Health and I hold the title proudly in my heart.
I was called to a mission to serve my community through my family and faith. I am a true optimist at heart and I thrive by helping and strengthening others. It is my Why, it is my calling in life. I value the opportunity to care, engage, and protect others. I am built on the foundation of authenticity, family and love. I relish the ability to teach my two beautiful daughters what it means to be a good person, and to leave this world better than you entered it. I have unwavering hope for each and every client and family member I cross paths with. Victory to me is seeing a client benefit and succeed with our team, while guiding with realistic and idealistic care at each stage of the journey. It’s when a client smiles at me, gives me the biggest hug, reaches a new goal, or a relieved family member gains their normal relationship with their loved one once again…that is what makes it all worth it. A minor act can have the most major impact on another person, yet I’ll never be able to repay my clients for how they overflow my cup with happiness and trust me to care for them.

For me, home care is about compassion, dignity, respect, and excellence.
I know this from my own experiences with my mother, who lived with Parkinson’s disease. She lingered on for many years and never wanted to go into a nursing home, hospital, etc. She always wanted to stay in her own home. She had a caregiver in the morning and another one in the evening, so I understand how important home care is. I got into the home care business with the intention of providing home care for my mother 24 hours a day.
Sadly, she passed away before I was able to provide the care I so desperately wanted to give her. I know from my own experiences with my mother that when an elderly loved one is diagnosed with an age-related illness, is coming home from a post-hospital discharge, or is simply too fragile due to old age to take care of his or her own daily needs, deciding on the best care option can be extremely stressful, difficult, and overwhelming. Please understand that you’re not alone. You can count on us and our team at Altruistic Home Care. Rest assured that together, we can explore the most viable options for you and your loved one.

Growing up I always gravitated to helping others, but helping my grandmother and elderly neighbor were my favorite activities.
It was fascinating listening to seniors’ stories about their lives when they were younger. I have learned so many invaluable life lessons from spending time with seniors, to which I can never repay.
This is why I love being in senior care. I am honored to assist seniors because to me they are the most important member of our society. They deserve to be cared for and respected! So, when I see the smile and life come back into their eyes due to a caregiver’s personality we paired them with, I am overjoyed with contentment. Choosing a profession that gives you purpose is a true gift.

It gives me great honor to be the first person you experience when I answer the phone. I believe my ability to adapt to the unknown my greatest gift working in this field.
During the COVID shutdown, it was overwhelming to experience the volume of families desperately calling, seeking care for their loved ones. This was an invaluable experience which helps me empathize with families going through similar challenges navigating this ever changing world.
I am a Colorado Native and enjoy the mountainous outdoors whenever I can. Though I started my journey in animal medicine, it led me to human medicine, and I have been in the service of home care for over 10 years, specifically in office management. There is never a dull moment, and my work allows me to be a part of people’s lives in such an exponentially positive way that makes the daily challenges that come with health care 100% worth it.
The Hippocratic Oath – it is the reason why I do this line of work… First, do no harm. Creating a safe space is the first step to providing outstanding care. I welcome you to Altruistic Health Care, and I will be here every step of the way with you!
